Job summary

Associa is seeking a Community Manager I to oversee and supervise a community association in Woodridge, IL. The role includes attending board meetings, preparing agendas and reports, and coordinating annual disclosures within statutory timelines.

The candidate will update homeowner data, coordinate facility inspections, and supervise staff and vendors under the management agreement while maintaining compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication with homeowners, vendors, board members and staff.
• Able to prepare agendas, manage reports and assemble board meeting packages.
• Proficient in handling confidential information and maintaining discretion.

Responsibilities

• Travel to client associations to attend board meetings, conduct inspections, and participate in community events.
• Prepare agendas, update management reports, and compile documents for Board packages.
• Prepare annual disclosure and financial statement packages and coordinate bulk mailing per statutes and documents.
• Update homeowner and association information in systems and shared files.
• Coordinate inspections of facilities and common areas and arrange follow-ups.
• Supervise operation of the Association per management agreement and policies.
• Act as liaison with the Association Board and homeowners as needed.
• Perform administrative duties requested by the Board and per agreement.
• Ensure community management tools are developed and used effectively (calendar, action items, budgets).
• Review monthly financial reports and provide summaries to the Board.
• Provide recommendations for major capital expenditures as needed.
• Oversee ARB applications and on-site inspections as required.
• Monitor delinquency rates and collections processes for accounts.
