Job summary

Associa is seeking a Community Manager I to oversee a portfolio of community associations in a client-facing, collaborative role. The position involves traveling to associations, preparing agendas and reports, and coordinating annual disclosures and financial packages for homeowners.

You will maintain HOA records, supervise vendor relationships and staff per the management agreement, and act as a liaison with boards and residents. Strong communication and confidentiality are required.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Knowledge of communities, property, real estate and homeowners associations.
  • Knowledge of the role of the association board and how requests interface with homeowners.
  • Proficiency in business correspondence (grammar, structure, punctuation, spelling).
  • Proficiency in conflict resolution techniques.
  • Professional customer service skills and discretion.

Responsibilities

  • Travel to client associations to attend board meetings, perform inspections and attend events.
  • Prepare agendas, update management reports and compile materials for Board packages.
  • Prepare annual disclosure packages, meeting notifications and financial statement packets for homeowners; arrange bulk mailing per statute.
  • Update homeowner and association information in C3 and shared files.
  • Coordinate inspections of buildings and common areas and arrange follow-ups as required.
  • Supervise operations and administration of the Association per the management agreement and policies.
