Job summary

Asset Living in Vacaville, CA seeks an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations under the Community Manager, focusing on delinquency control, rent collection, and cash flow. You will supervise onsite staff, manage leasing, maintenance, and admin tasks, ensuring compliance with fair housing and company policies while delivering excellent resident service.

This role requires a high school diploma (bachelor's preferred), basic computer skills, and knowledge of housing regulations;

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred or two years experience in the housing industry; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to understand and perform onsite software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Posting all payments and income from applicants and residents accurately and timely.
• Reconciling daily all account receivables.
• Monitoring and following up on bad debt including late notices and evictions.
• Helping the property meet budgeted revenues, expenses, and NOI.
• Posting charges to resident accounts and bill backs of utilities when applicable.
• Performing end-of-month closing procedures and reporting.
