Job summary

Wendover Management is seeking aCommunity Manager to lead an affordable housing community in Florida. The role focuses on directing property performance, guiding a team, and delivering a high-quality living experience for residents.

You will manage budgets, oversee maintenance, vendor coordination, and ensure compliance with LIHTC regulations while driving occupancy and resident satisfaction. This full-time onsite role emphasizes care, teamwork, and community engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred and LIHTC knowledge preferred.
• 1+ year of experience managing a LIHTC property.
• CAM, CAPS, or CPM designation preferred.
• Deep understanding of affordable housing compliance and operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and mentor leasing and maintenance teams to achieve site goals.
• Develop annual budgets and manage daily finances.
• Monitor operating expenses and identify efficiency opportunities.
• Oversee work schedules, preventive maintenance, and vendor coordination.
• Manage contracts, vendor performance, and purchasing within budget.
• Deliver outstanding customer service to residents and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with LIHTC regulations and safety protocols.
• Drive local marketing strategies to increase occupancy and revenue.
