Job summary

LSA Management, a Southeast-based leader in affordable housing, is seeking a Community Manager to oversee a multifamily LIHTC property. You will manage leasing, resident relations, regulatory compliance, and on-site operations to deliver exceptional service and strong financial performance.

You will lead a on-site team, coordinate with regional leadership, ensure LIHTC compliance, audits, and reporting, while driving occupancy and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience: 1+ year as a Community Manager; 3+ years multifamily property management; 1+ year LIHTC / Affordable Housing / Tax Credit compliance experience.
• Strong understanding of LIHTC and Affordable Housing regulations.
• Budgeting, rent collections, and financial reporting experience.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven.

Responsibilities

• Oversee property operations to ensure a safe, well-maintained community.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and resident satisfaction.
• Drive occupancy goals through effective leasing and retention strategies.
• Ensure compliance with LIHTC, Tax Credit, and Affordable Housing program requirements.
• Maintain accurate resident files and documentation.
• Prepare for audits, inspections, and reporting requirements.
• Manage property budgets and financial performance.
• Monitor rent collections, delinquency, occupancy, and expenses.
• Analyze monthly reports and implement strategies to maximize property performance.
• Supervise, coach, and develop on-site team members.
• Foster accountability, engagement, and professional growth.
• Collaborate with regional leadership to achieve operational goals.
• Partner with maintenance teams to ensure timely completion of work orders and property upkeep.
• Manage vendor relationships and service contracts.
• Build positive relationships with residents and community stakeholders.
• Resolve resident concerns professionally and efficiently.
• Lead initiatives that strengthen community engagement and resident retention.
