Job summary

RealManage, LLC is seeking an experienced Chief Operating Officer for our Arlington, VA operations. The role leads the HOA/property management portfolio, directs budgeting, policy development, and strategic planning while collaborating with Board members and a team of managers to deliver exceptional community services.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years as an Onsite HOA property manager.
• Associates degree or higher preferred.
• CMCA or state-equivalent certification desired.
• Strong focus on customer service and stakeholder management.
• Must be proactive in communication with clients and team.
• Experience budgeting and managing operations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all community policies as defined by the Board of Directors.
• Plan and approve operating policies, procedures, and budgets.
• Direct the work of department managers to meet strategic goals.
• Prepare monthly financial reports for the Board.
• Coordinate long-range and annual business plans.
• Monitor program impact and recommend changes as needed.
• Maintain quality of association products and member satisfaction.
• Protect and safeguard association assets.
• Engage with members to gather input on direction and improvements.
• Coordinate with the Board on strategic initiatives.
• Develop and implement operational programs and procedures.
• Evaluate committee activities reporting to the General Manager.
• Ensure purchasing policy compliance and internal controls.
• Advise management staff and foster professional development.
• Maintain a proactive management philosophy across the team.
• Perform other duties as directed.
