Job summary

Essex-Property-Trust's Community Account Specialist in Culver City handles all accounting operations for the community, including posting payments, deposit accounting, and month-end close, while delivering excellent resident service.

You will resolve escalations, communicate about balances, support eviction proceedings, and prepare ad hoc reports, always aligning with Essex policies and coordinating with Accounting and Legal.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• College degree preferred.
• One year of customer service experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Actively communicates with residents regarding move-in, balances, and eviction status.
• Resolves customer escalations in a timely and accurate manner.
• Maintain the highest level of customer service for residents, vendors, teammates, and corporate departments.
• Process deposit accounting forms and month-end reporting.
• Support legal proceedings for unpaid rent, including eviction processes.
• Assist with ad hoc requests and reports as needed.
