Job summary

Day & Zimmermann Maintenance and Construction (DZMC) seeks an experienced Combined Cycle Construction Manager for an on-site role in Rincon, Georgia. You will oversee construction obligations and manage craft/labor agreements on assigned projects, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule alignment.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in heavy industrial construction management, subcontract management experience, and familiarity with union trades.

Qualifications

• 5 years of relevant Construction Management experience in Heavy industrial industry or similar facility
• Broad base experience in managing project scopes with emphasis on safety, human performance, and subcontract management
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field preferred
• Associate degree or completion of an apprenticeship program or equivalent experience required
• Working knowledge of Primavera P6 scheduling, project cost accounting, and project change management skills
• Strong ability to manage project schedules and subcontractors on sub-contract management projects
• Experience with union building trades craft (resume required)
• Ability to read and interpret applicable union labor agreements, contract documents, project documents and safety procedures
• Assist in generating scopes of work for subcontract documents and comply with DZ operating procedures
