Day & Zimmermann Maintenance and Construction (DZMC) in Baxley, GA is seeking a Mechanical Project Coordinator to support nuclear projects. The role acts as a key liaison across Project Management, Engineering, Maintenance, Planning, Procurement, and Site Operations to ensure projects are properly planned, scheduled, budgeted, and executed.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with IBM Maximo for work management, asset tracking, and project reporting, and at least 3 years

Qualifications

3+ years coordinating mechanical projects in industrial, power, or nuclear environments.
Demonstrated experience using IBM Maximo for work management.
Experience with project reporting, scheduling and budgeting.

Responsibilities

Coordinate mechanical projects from initial planning through project closeout.
Meet with Project Managers, Engineers, and Site Leadership to review designs, scope, and implementation strategies.
Schedule and facilitate project walkdowns utilizing D&Z Estimator, D&Z Lead Supervisors, Site Mechanical Leadership.
Develop written project reviews and recommendations for client approval prior to project execution.
Maintain accurate equipment, asset, and maintenance records within Maximo and monitor milestones.
Generate status reports and updates using Maximo data for project stakeholders.
Assist in risk identification and mitigation planning with Project Management.
Monitor budgets and provide weekly reporting of hours, materials, and earned value metrics.
Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, and civil leads to develop schedules and resources.
