Job summary

Day & Zimmermann Maintenance and Construction (DZMC) seeks a Combined Cycle Construction Manager for on-site roles in the United States. You will oversee construction obligations, manage craft and labor agreements, and coordinate with project teams to ensure safety and project scope adherence.

The ideal candidate has 5 years of heavy industrial construction management experience, familiarity with Primavera P6, subcontract management, and union trades; a related degree is preferred, with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a related field is preferred.
• Associate degree or apprenticeship completed, or equivalent experience, is required.
• Strong knowledge of Primavera P6 scheduling, cost accounting, and change management.
• Experience with managing construction subcontractors and union trades.

Responsibilities

• Oversee successful construction activities and ensure compliance with craft/labor agreements.
• Manage subcontractors and project execution to meet safety and performance targets.
• Coordinate with project management and field teams on schedule and cost control.
• Maintain relationships with local labor officials as applicable.
• Read, interpret and apply project documents, specifications, and safety procedures.
• Support generation of scopes of work for subcontract documents.
