Qualifications

• 1–3 years of collections experience or related field.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of collection regulations (MLA, SCRA, FCRA, FDCPA, Bankruptcy Code).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and data entry.
• Strong verbal and written communication; able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Oversee collection efforts to prevent foreclosure through forbearance and loan modifications.
• Manage the OREO property portfolio and related recovery activities.
• Navigate bankruptcy, judgments, and levies; prepare related documents.
• Maintain accurate reporting of recovery accounts and repossession portfolio.
• Collaborate with team to develop credit solutions tailored to members’ needs.
• Keep meticulous records on delinquent accounts and assist with insurance claims.
• Negotiate resolutions for vendors and members.
