Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution OR four years of equivalent post-secondary education/experience
• Previous collection experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Proficient computer skills and ability to maintain confidentiality
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
• Ambition and desire to grow professionally
• Experience in customer service or problem solving helpful
• Positive, friendly demeanor and ability to work independently

Responsibilities

• Communicate with consumers by phone and written correspondence to assist with payment plans and account resolution
• Update account information accurately in computer systems for each interaction
• Skip tracing to locate contact information
• Comply with applicable laws and company policies
• Maintain knowledge of policies and procedures across functional areas
• Provide feedback to management on process improvements
• Suggest implementations for improved processes
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
