Regal Rexnord is seeking a skilled CNC/ machinist for an on-site role in Florence, KY. You will set up and adjust CNC and manual equipment, perform measurements, calibrations and quality inspections within the Diaphragm Cell, and ensure accurate setup documentation and safe operations.

You will work with multiple machines, follow ISO 9001 and API 671 guidelines, train new staff, and participate in 6S and safety procedures while maintaining equipment and tooling.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret complex instructions for machine setup.
• Ability to perform arithmetic with decimals and fractions.
• Ability to interpret dimensional gauging measurements.
• Ability to operate overhead cranes.

Responsabilités

• Read and interpret complex instructions for machine setup.
• Set up machines or cells of machines per instructions, including vertical/horizontal lathes, vertical mill, press, laser and EDM.
• Perform assembly, quality inspections and shot peening within the cell.
• Ensure proper tools and setup sheets are used and maintained.
• Make adjustments to tools and parameters to maintain dimensions and lubrication levels.
• Operate designated machines as instructed and clean up work area after use.
• Create, save and store setup sheets for future use; approve setups based on measurements.
• Report malfunctions or discrepancies to supervisor and complete training.
