Job summary

Regal Rexnord is seeking a CNC/machining setup technician for an onsite role at our Diaphragm Cell. You will read complex instructions, set up various machines (vertical/horizontal lathes, mill, press, laser, EDM), and perform assembly, inspection, and shot peening within the cell.

You will ensure proper tools, document setup sheets, and maintain tolerances, coolant, and lubrication. Training, 6S adherence, and safety compliance are required.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret complex oral, written and visual instructions for machine set up.

Responsibilities

• Set up machines or cells according to instructions or established practice, including vertical & horizontal lathes, vertical mill, press, laser and EDM.
• Perform assembly, quality inspections and shot peening within the cell.
• Ensure proper tools and setup sheet are used; maintain dimensions and coolant/lubrication levels.
• Operate designated machines as instructed and break down setups; report malfunctions and discrepancies to supervisor.
• Follow 6S policies and train new employees; adhere to ISO 9001 QOPs and API 671 guidelines.
