Job summary

Regal Rexnord in Florence, KY seeks a skilled maintenance technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain CNC mills, lathes, and related equipment. You will troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, perform alignments, and document work in the maintenance system.

Responsibilities include installing upgrades, conducting preventive maintenance, and mentoring junior technicians. An electrician license is preferred or obtainable, with strong commitment to safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Licensed electrician or willingness to obtain license.
• Experience with machine tools maintenance and repair.
• Proficient with measuring instruments and shop math.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair machine tools and auxiliaries (lathes, mills, shapers, hobs, cranes, hoists).
• Work on older shapers and hobs; apply CNC control knowledge (Fanuc, Mazatrol, Siemens, Okuma OSP, Haas).
• Use Renishaw probing and ballbar systems; perform laser alignment.
• Install, service, and repair electrical/electronic systems; HVAC and facility services.
• Disassemble, repair/replace parts, reassemble and align; verify with post-repair testing.
• Install new equipment and rebuild machines; document hydraulics and PLC wiring diagrams.
• Create/read/modify blueprints, schematics, PLC diagrams, and circuit diagrams.
• Collaborate with teams; obtain quotes and coordinate service/parts.
• Cut/weld and fabricate parts; conduct troubleshooting and advanced maintenance.
• Log activities in maintenance system; promote 6S and safety; mentor juniors.
