The Role at a glance: We are seeking an experienced registered dietitian to join the healthcare team in Pittsburgh. You will assess nutritional needs, intervene to maintain status, and enhance quality of life for residents.

You will provide nutritional expertise to the care team, follow standards of practice, and collaborate across departments to improve dining services and nutrition programs.

Formación

• Passed a national exam by the CDR or eligible per Academy requirements.
• Completes 75 hours of CE every five years per CDR guidelines.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards for assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsabilidades

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents and staff.
• Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Interacting with other departments to set up procedures and policies related to dining and nutrition.
• Actively participate in development, review, and revision of continuous quality improvement programs.
