Job summary

Cura-Hospitality is seeking an experienced Registered Dietitian to join our healthcare team in Pittsburgh. You will assess nutritional needs of patients/residents, initiate interventions, and work to improve quality of life aligned with residents' goals.

You will provide nutrition expertise to the health care team, follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards and regulatory requirements, and collaborate with departments to enhance dining services and nutrition programs.

Qualifications

• Passed a national examination by the CDR or eligible.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for assessments and care planning.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.
• Experience in healthcare or long-term care is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents.
• Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards and facility requirements.
• Collaborate with departments to develop procedures related to dining and nutrition.
• Participate in ongoing quality improvement programs.
