Cura Hospitality is seeking a Registered Dietitian to join our healthcare team in Pittsburgh. You will evaluate nutritional needs of patients/residents and implement interventions to improve nutritional status and quality of life.

Responsibilities include educating staff and residents, adhering to professional standards, and collaborating across departments to optimize dining services and nutrition programs. A passion for patient-centered care is essential.

Qualifikationen

• Passed a national examination administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or meets the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics requirements for eligibility.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years.
• Licensed or certified, per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for comprehensive assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Aufgaben

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments to set up procedures related to dining service and nutrition.
• Participate in development, review, and improvement of quality assurance programs.
