Job summary

AKS Engineering & Forestry seeks an Electrical Engineer to lead onsite oversight of LV/MV/HV electrical systems for utility-scale renewables. You will coordinate cable installation, testing, and energization with EPC partners, OEMs, and subcontractors, ensuring QA/QC and safety standards are met.

The role requires a BS in Electrical Engineering, experience with solar/BESS/wind, strong documentation skills, and willingness to travel across the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Experience with solar, BESS, or wind projects.
• Experience coordinating LV/MV/HV systems and energization.
• Ability to travel across the United States.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• OSHA 10 safety training.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day onsite oversight of LV/MV/HV electrical systems, inverters, and BESS on utility-scale projects.
• Coordinate cable pulling, terminations, and testing to meet specifications.
• Ensure electrical QA/QC and energization readiness during installation.
• Interface with OEMs and commissioning teams to coordinate requirements and energization.
• Manage NCRs and corrective actions with root-cause analysis.
• Maintain turnover documentation to support completion and closeout.
