Job summary

AKS Engineering & Forestry is seeking a Construction Superintendent to lead onsite coordination for utility-scale renewable projects across solar, BESS, and wind. You will review plans, safety procedures, and schedules, monitor deliveries, and coordinate with EPC partners to keep the project on track.

You will also support permit compliance, inspections, environmental requirements, and closeout documentation while maintaining accurate field records and driving continuous improvement and team

Qualifications

• Experience with solar, BESS, or wind projects in a field environment.
• Ability to coordinate multiple trades and manage electrical scopes.
• Strong written and verbal communication with EPC partners and clients.
• Diligent documentation of meetings, decisions, and site changes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, Adobe, and scheduling tools.
• Safety training for field work (OSHA 10).
• Willingness to travel to project sites across the United States.
• High school diploma required; related coursework or degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead onsite coordination for utility-scale renewable energy projects (solar, BESS, wind).
• Review work plans, methods, safety procedures, and schedules across scopes.
• Monitor delivery and storage of equipment and materials for readiness.
• Track milestones and adjust plans with EPC partners as needed.
• Support permit compliance, inspections, and closeout documentation.
• Participate in punch walks, mechanical and substantial completion, closeout activities.
• Maintain accurate field documentation of conditions, decisions, inspections, and progress.
