RemX is seeking a Cash Application Specialist for a 3–4 month on-site assignment in Pasadena, CA. The role supports the Accounts Receivable team by ensuring accurate application of customer payments and resolving discrepancies.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years in Cash Applications or related AR role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems; JD Edwards a plus.
• Construction industry experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Process and apply customer payments (ACH, wires, checks, lockbox, credit cards).
• Match payments to open invoices and customer accounts.
• Investigate payment discrepancies and unapplied cash.
• Perform daily bank reconciliations and verify balances.
• Prepare journal entries and account adjustments.
• Collaborate with AR, Operations, and Customer Service teams.
• Utilize ERP systems and Excel to track and report transactions.
