Job summary

Collectors is seeking a detail-oriented Cash Applications Clerk for an 8-week contract, based in our Santa Ana, CA office. You will apply customer payments to orders, reconcile payments, and support AR processes in a fast-paced, high-volume setting. On-site 5 days a week; travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of cash application or accounts receivable experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
• Accounting certificate or associate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Apply customer payments to accounts accurately and in a timely fashion.
• Prepare daily bank deposits and post to customer orders.
• Process customer credit card payments per policy.
• Reconcile payments to ensure proper application.
• Maintain files and scan documents to electronic format.
• Troubleshoot problem orders and accounting holds.
• Create/track/close show order projects.
• Resolve short payments by contacting customers via email/phone.
• Answer customer calls and emails promptly.
• Assist with new company processes.
• Occasional travel may be required.
