Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, 18+ years old.
• At least 1 year of cooking experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Experience in a cafeteria or large-volume production facility.
• Knowledge of safety procedures in a cafeteria environment.

Responsibilities

• Refer to Daily Prep List and complete opening/closing checklists daily.
• Set up workstation with ingredients and cooking equipment.
• Operate ovens, stoves, slicers and mixers as needed.
• Handle, label and rotate products following state laws.
• Report to the Food Service Director; work onsite inside a jail/correctional facility.
