Job summary

Trinity Services Group is seeking a Cook for an on-site role inside a jail/correctional facility. The position offers $18.50/hour with a $500 new hire bonus. You will prepare hot and cold items, follow recipes, and manage your station with a team to deliver timely dishes.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of cooking experience, a HS diploma or GED, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, while following food safety guidelines. Health benefits and daily pay options are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of relevant cooking experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Experience in a cafeteria or large-volume production facility.
• Knowledge of safety procedures in a cafeteria environment.

Responsibilities

• Refer to Daily Prep List and complete opening/closing checklists.
• Set up workstation with ingredients and equipment.
• Operate ovens, stoves, slicers, and mixers.
• Handle, label, store, and rotate all products per state laws.
• Stand, walk and perform physical tasks for long periods.
• Contribute to a collaborative kitchen team as needed.
