Job summary

Accenture Construct is delivering multi‑jurisdictional bridge and roadway projects onsite with a leadership role to manage the construction management team and ensure contractor compliance with the contract. The role involves daily field oversight, quality assurance, and close coordination with stakeholders at the client site.

Onsite at client site for California projects, the position requires PE licensure or EIT and extensive inspection experience.

Qualifications

• California Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) preferred, Engineer In Training (EIT) required.
• Eight (8) years of roadway/highway construction inspection and field engineering experience on major public works projects.
• One Caltrans-administered or federally funded highway project.
• Minimum three (3) years of experience in structural mechanics, stress analysis, or bridge construction inspection.

Responsibilities

• Deliver complex, multi-jurisdictional bridge and roadway improvement projects.
• Support Resident Engineer with field oversight, inspection, quality assurance, and contract administration.
• Perform and oversee daily inspections and quality assurance for bridge and roadway construction.
• Verify contractor work for conformance with approved plans, specs and provisions.
• Coordinate with contractors, utilities, public agencies, and CM Consultants to resolve field issues and minimize delays.
• Review contractor submittals, RFIs, schedules, and other project documentation.
