Job summary

Accenture Construct is seeking a leadership-level professional to manage multi-jurisdictional bridge and roadway projects onsite with client teams. You will oversee field inspections, QA/QC, and contract administration to ensure compliance with plans and schedules.

You will collaborate with contractors, utilities, public agencies, and consultants, review submittals, and support change orders and progress reporting. A PE/EIT background and extensive highway inspection experience are required.

Qualifications

• California PE license preferred; EIT certification required.
• Eight (8) years of roadway/highway construction inspection experience on major public works projects
• One Caltrans-administered or federally funded highway project
• Minimum three (3) years of experience in structural mechanics, stress analysis, or bridge construction inspection

Responsibilities

• Deliver complex, multi-jurisdictional bridge and roadway improvement projects.
• Support the Resident Engineer with field oversight, inspection, and contract administration.
• Perform and oversee daily inspections and quality assurance activities for bridge and roadway construction.
• Verify contractor work for conformance with plans, specs, and provisions.
• Coordinate with contractors, utilities, public agencies, and consultants to resolve field issues and minimize delays.
• Review submittals, RFIs, progress schedules, and project documentation.
• Oversee material testing and sampling to ensure compliance with requirements.
• Support contract administration, including change orders, pay estimates, and claims documentation.
• Track contractor progress and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Perform calculations for grade, alignment, quantities, and structural components during construction.
• Collaborate with Construction Management Consultants, including staking and environmental monitoring teams.
