Job summary

Metro Credit Union in Lawrence, MA is seeking a Sales & Service Representative for the Lawrence Branch. You will deliver friendly, accurate service while handling everyday banking transactions and building member relationships.

You’ll open accounts, assist with loans and documentation, and refer complex needs to Metro partners. This onsite role requires accuracy, confidentiality, and a collaborative mindset to meet branch goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Clear, attentive service with strong communication.
• Accurate handling of financial transactions and documentation.
• Dependability and onsite presence during branch hours, including rotating Saturdays.
• Proficient use of standard computer applications and branch systems.
• Ability to operate office equipment and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Process deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, loan payments and other member transactions accurately.
• Open and service consumer accounts with proper documentation and security clearances.
• Ask questions to understand member needs and recommend financial solutions.
• Conduct loan interviews and assist with applications and documentation.
• Make referrals to Metro partners when appropriate.
• Resolve member concerns by identifying root causes and providing solutions.
• Balance daily work and protect confidential information.
• Serve as a branch keyholder for opening/closing as assigned.
• Grow skills through Metro’s Universal Service program and support other functions when needed.
