Job summary

Metro Credit Union is seeking a flexible float branch associate in the Boston area to support multiple branches with teller and member service tasks. You will guide members through financial transactions, provide product information, and help with opening accounts and resolving issues.

The role includes rotating through front-end member service and back-end support, handling inquiries via phone and secure messages, and contributing to sales referrals while upholding security and SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Provides float coverage to branches by assisting with day-to-day operations, including opening and closing branch locations and teller/member service support.
• Provides supervisory support in the absence of a branch supervisor, approves transactions, and addresses staffing and member escalations.
• Supports secondary back-end tasks via phone support for the Universal Service Center and responds to Secure Messages.
• Identifies financial needs of new and existing members and offers Metro's products and services accordingly.
• Completes account openings, teller transactions, and end-of-day branch balancing accurately.
• Conducts consumer loan interviews, assists with loan applications, verifies signatures, and ensures approval conditions are met.
• Contributes to sales goals by making appropriate referrals to Retail partners.
• Resolves member escalations by diagnosing issues, explaining solutions, expediting corrections, and following up.
