RXO Inc. is seeking an Associate Representative, Business Development to identify new opportunities with SMB clients and maintain relationships to drive revenue.

You will negotiate rates, secure profitable loads, and understand carrier options while representing RXO's brand in daily operations. The role requires at least 1 year of procurement and transportation experience, plus 2 years in sales or customer service, with the ability to work independently on-site in Knoxville.

Qualifications

• 1 year of procurement experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work or military experience.
• 1 year of transportation experience.
• 2 years of sales or customer service experience.
• Ability to exercise judgment and discretion while functioning independently within authorized limits.

Responsibilities

• Identify new business opportunities with small and mid-sized customers and drive revenue and load volume.
• Negotiate with customers to secure profitable rates and ensure client satisfaction.
• Develop understanding of industry rates, carriers, and equipment.
• Collaborate with team to secure terms of sale and identify carriers.
• Follow procedures to ensure shipment integrity and RXO brand.
• Update internal tracking and reporting systems to maintain accuracy in sales metrics.
