Aston Carter is seeking a Billing Clerk for an on-site role in Reno, NV. The position is contract to hire, paying $18.00 per hour, with a team of about 13 in the department.

The role involves accurate quoting, timely invoicing, billing inquiries handling, and collaboration with other departments to ensure efficient cycles and customer satisfaction. Training shift 8 AM to 4:30 PM; shifts may vary within 7 AM–6 PM during interview.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of business billing or similar experience.
• Experience in transportation or logistics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the billing process from start to finish.
• Verify charges and prepare invoices and credit memos.
• Issue invoices to customers via mail or email.
• Maintain up-to-date customer records and support billing operations.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth billing cycles.
