Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Psychology or Sociology required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Compassionate, empathetic and nonjudgmental approach to patient care.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Must pass background checks and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to patients during treatment activities.
• Maintain accurate records of patient behaviors and progress.
• Facilitate skills groups and document notes on client behavior.
• Assist in crisis intervention as trained and directed by supervisors.
• Engage patients in therapeutic activities to promote self-awareness and regulation.
• Collaborate with licensed professionals to ensure coordinated care.
• Educate patients and families about mental health and coping strategies.
• Monitor environment for safety and adhere to protocols.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
