Job summary

Guidelight Health is seeking a part-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our onsite team in Norwood, MA. You will perform psychiatric evaluations, diagnose, manage medications, and provide therapeutic support within our PHP and IOP programs.

The role emphasizes collaboration with psychiatrists, therapists, and other clinicians to deliver holistic patient care with strong crisis intervention and documentation.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited program.
• Board certification as a PMHNP-BC or Physician Assistant.
• Current, unrestricted state licensure as a PMHNP or PA.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations, including intake assessments, for PHP/IOP patients.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessments.
• Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications with monitoring.
• Provide ongoing medication management and adjust plans as needed.
• Coordinate care with therapists, social workers, and the clinical team.
• Provide crisis intervention and support within PHP/IOP settings.
• Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and treatment planning.
• Document all patient interactions and treatments per policies and regulatory requirements.
• Educate patients and families about mental health conditions and treatment options.
• Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards for psychiatric services.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of evidence-based psychiatric care.
