Job summary

Guidelight Health is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician to support adolescents in PHP/IOP programs at our Andover clinic. You will work under licensed clinicians to facilitate groups, reinforce treatment concepts, and maintain a safe therapeutic milieu.

Responsibilities include client education, documentation, and collaboration with therapists, nurses, and other team members. This role emphasizes de-escalation, structure, and professional boundaries, with no independent psychotherapy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field.
• Experience with adolescents in behavioral health settings.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and group facilitation skills.
• Ability to maintain professional boundaries with adolescents.
• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain.
• Background checks and pre-employment requirements completed.
• Ability to follow structured curriculum and clinical direction.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate psychoeducational and skills-based groups under licensed staff.
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic milieu and supervise clients.
• Document observations and attendance per guidelines.
• Collaborate with therapists and nursing staff to support care.
• Ensure appropriate boundaries and de-escalation when needed.
• Participate in team meetings and training.
