Job summary

PowerCo Canada Inc. is seeking a Senior Construction Project Lead for the St. Thomas site to manage external construction and design partners, coordinate engineers, and ensure safety and quality across the project lifecycle.

You will lead the construction team on site, maintain detailed schedules, monitor costs, and provide regular progress updates to executives and stakeholders. A civil engineering related degree and 5+ years of leadership in large projects are required, with up to 30% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in civil engineering, architecture, electrical or HVAC.
• 5+ years of experience leading major construction projects.
• Deep knowledge in construction processes, scheduling, quality control and safety coordination.
• LEAN Construction Management experience is an asset.
• Ability to travel within Canada/US and internationally up to ~30%.

Responsibilities

• Leading external Project construction company and design company.
• Coordination/Lead of Lot Construction Engineers team.
• Leading Construction companies on site.
• In-depth understanding of challenges for battery cell manufacturing facilities, managing technical requirements and safety standards.
• Ensure project reporting and regular updates on progress, including cleanroom validation, equipment installation, and safety compliance.
• Supervise procurement and cost management, track milestones and schedule.
