Job summary

PowerCo Canada Inc. in St. Thomas, ON invites applications for the BSI Design Manager role. You will lead design activities for Battery Specific Infrastructure, translating business needs into concrete deliverables and guiding engineering contractors.

This in-person role requires strong leadership, governance of BIM and document control, and experience with cross-functional coordination to deliver compliant, scalable infrastructure on schedule.

Qualifications

• Translate business and product requirements into actionable design deliverables.
• Lead interface management across technical units and disciplines.
• Govern design changes with traceability and QA/QC standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for all design activities within Battery Specific Infrastructure (BSI).
• Oversee BIM implementation and document control systems.
• Ensure compliance with technical standards, project objectives, and cost/schedule targets.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to resolve design dependencies.
• Govern technical change processes across all BSI design disciplines.
