Job summary

Covestic Inc. seeks an experienced onsite AV/VC Operations Tier 2 Technician to support conference rooms, offices, and specialty spaces. You will troubleshoot, install, and maintain AV systems, including projectors, sound systems, LED walls, and conferencing gear.

You will be the first point of contact for client requests, coordinating with Tier 3 engineers on complex issues. The role requires hands-on expertise in AV operations within a large corporate environment, strong communication skills,

Qualifications

• HS diploma/GED with 3+ years of AV operations experience.
• Strong emotional intelligence and a positive, supportive attitude when working with clients and teams.
• Experience in AV installations and operations support in a large corporate environment.
• Understanding of basic networking and video transmission over networks.
• Experience with LED walls and troubleshooting hardware issues.
• Proficiency with helpdesk ticketing software.

Responsibilities

• Provide break fixes and troubleshooting support for AV systems in conference rooms and offices.
• Support daily room sweeps and escalations for conference spaces, digital signage, and AV equipment.
• Assist with events setup, decommission, and turnover of AV spaces.
• Monitor tickets and log incidents with full details for tracking.
• Coordinate cabling, power, and AV rack wiring for reliable operation.
• Support commissioning and turnover of new conference rooms and specialty spaces.
• Test new AV designs and solutions in collaboration with Tier 3 engineers.
• Participate in weekly meetings to review issues and roadmap events.
• Ensure compliance with client policies and safety guidelines.
