Job summary

HireArt is seeking an Audio Visual Technician (IT & Applications) to support conferencing technology, digital signage, and audiovisual services for internal meetings, corporate events, and live productions in Foster City, CA.

The role involves hands-on AV support for conference rooms and live/hybrid events, collaborating with engineers, producers, and executives to ensure reliable systems, quick troubleshooting, and seamless experiences for in-person and remote audiences.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of audiovisual or IT support experience.
• Proficiency with Zoom Webinar, Zoom Events, Zoom Studio, Vimeo and OBS.
• Hands-on experience with Q-SYS, TriCaster, NDI/SDI, LiveU, KiloView.
• Experience supporting large-scale corporate events and livestreams.
• Experience managing Zoom Rooms and conferencing hardware.

Responsibilities

• Support conference rooms audiovisual equipment and digital signage.
• Collaborate with AV engineers to configure rooms and evaluate solutions.
• Set up and operate AV and streaming systems for meetings and events.
• Manage live productions using Zoom, Vimeo, OBS.
• Configure audio and control systems and support broadcasts.
• Perform pre-event health checks and rehearsals.
• Manage AV tickets and troubleshoot onsite or remote issues.
• Provide technical guidance to producers and presenters.
• Maintain documentation of setups and processes.
