HireArt is seeking an Audio Visual Technician (IT & Applications) to support conferencing technology, digital signage, and audiovisual services for internal meetings, corporate events, and live productions in Foster City, CA.

The role involves hands-on AV support for conference rooms and live/hybrid events, collaborating with engineers, producers, and executives to ensure reliable systems, quick troubleshooting, and seamless experiences for in-person and remote audiences.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of audiovisual or IT support experience.
• Proficiency with Zoom Webinar, Zoom Events, Zoom Studio, Vimeo and OBS.
• Hands-on experience with Q-SYS, TriCaster, NDI/SDI, LiveU, KiloView.
• Experience supporting large-scale corporate events and livestreams.
• Experience managing Zoom Rooms and conferencing hardware.

Expected compensation: 55.00 - 60.00 USD Per Hour
HireArt is helping an on-demand, autonomous ride-hailing company find an Audio Visual Technician (IT & Applications) to support conferencing technology, digital signage, and audiovisual services for internal meetings, corporate events, and live productions.

In this role, you'll provide hands-on technical support for conference rooms, audiovisual equipment, and live and hybrid events. You'll collaborate with AV engineers, producers, executives, and cross-functional teams to maintain reliable conferencing systems, troubleshoot technical issues, evaluate new solutions, and deliver seamless experiences for in-person and remote audiences.

The ideal candidate brings strong audiovisual and live production experience, excellent customer service and communication skills, and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

As An Audio Visual Technician (IT & Applications), You'll

• Support, maintain, and troubleshoot conference room audiovisual equipment, including displays, cameras, speakers, controllers, cabling, and digital signage.
• Partner with AV engineers to build out conference rooms, configure equipment, and evaluate new hardware and software solutions.
• Set up, operate, and break down AV and streaming systems for meetings, executive events, webinars, and live and hybrid productions.
• Manage live productions using Zoom Webinar, Zoom Events, Zoom Studio, Vimeo, and OBS, including video switching, routing, and signal flow through TriCaster, NDI, and SDI.
• Configure audio and control systems, including Q-SYS, microphones, and gain structure, and support broadcasts using LiveU, KiloView, professional cameras, and RTMP workflows.
• Conduct equipment health checks, conference room inspections, pre-event testing, and rehearsals to ensure reliable system performance.
• Manage AV support tickets, prioritize urgent issues, and troubleshoot conferencing, connectivity, and live production problems onsite or remotely.
• Collaborate with producers, presenters, and executives to provide technical guidance and seamless event support.
• Maintain documentation of technical setups, troubleshooting procedures, internal processes, and user-fac​ing support resources.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in audiovisual, IT support, or a related technical role
• Proficiency with Zoom Webinar, Zoom Events, Zoom Studio, Vimeo, and OBS
• Hands-on experience with Q-SYS, TriCaster, NDI/SDI workflows, LiveU, KiloView, professional cameras, and RTMP streaming
• Experience supporting large-scale corporate events, executive meetings, and livestreams across multiple locations
• Experience managing Zoom Rooms, conferencing hardware, and meeting room controllers, including iOS and macOS devices
• Familiarity with hybrid event workflows and stream redundancy planning
• Basic networking knowledge and Windows/macOS troubleshooting skills related to conferencing and event technology
• Experience supporting AV systems and events in an enterprise or technology company
• Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to remain calm under live-event pressure
• Flexibility to support early morning, evening, and weekend event schedules

• Experience providing white-glove technical support for executives and senior leadership
