Job summary

DeWinter Group in Foster City, CA is seeking an Audio Visual Technician to deliver seamless conference technology and digital signage support for internal events. You will assist with live streams, executive meetings, and large-scale gatherings, ensuring high reliability and quick problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in AV or IT support, strong communication, and experience with Zoom Rooms and conferencing hardware. Onsite role with no travel.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

• 1-3 years of experience in AV or IT support roles
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Proven ability to support and troubleshoot conference room equipment, including displays, cameras, speakers, and controllers
• Experience managing live production for company events, including streaming to multiple locations
• Familiarity with Zoom Rooms, conferencing hardware, and digital signage
• Basic knowledge of networking, Windows, and macOS troubleshooting
• Ability to prioritize and manage an AV support ticket queue effectively
• Customer-focused approach with excellent follow-up skills

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience providing white-glove support for executives
• Knowledge of configuring iOS, macOS, and other meeting room hardware
• Troubleshooting connectivity issues and real-time problem solving during live events

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Relevant certifications or training in AV technology or networking
• Proven track record in supporting enterprise-level conference and live streaming events

Other Requirements:

• Onsite role only; ability to support physical equipment in conference environments
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic setting with occasional need for urgent support during live events
