Job summary

Sky Systems, Inc. seeks a Dispatch AV/IT Technician to provide onsite desktop and AV support, diagnose basic network issues, and ensure smooth conference room operations across locations.

You will troubleshoot desktops and meeting room devices, manage loaner equipment, and coordinate with vendors and central IT for escalations and replacements. This role requires ability to work at height and strong communication.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of IT and AV support experience.
• Hands-on troubleshooting with desktops, laptops, and meeting room devices.
• Basic understanding of LAN ports, cabling, patching, and device resets.
• Familiarity with conferencing platforms (Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Webex).
• Ability to lift equipment and work at height.
• Strong communication, customer service, and documentation skills.
• Able to follow SOPs, ticketing processes, and escalation guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot desktops and notebooks; coordinate warranty repairs and break-fix activities.
• Track loaner/spare devices using customer systems.
• Provide L1 AV support for meeting rooms: checks, resets, room readiness, basic hardware troubleshooting.
• Manage conference room accounts and access controls.
• Assist with printer basics: toner, waste cartridge changes.
• Provide hands-on onsite infrastructure and network checks (ports, cabling, patch panels, APs, power).
• Coordinate with third-party vendors and procurement teams as needed.
• Support equipment replacement or resets under central IT guidance.
• Work at height when required (ladder/lift).
• Maintain communication with onsite and offsite teams about changes/issues.
