Job summary

KNAPP is seeking a Resident Engineer to provide first-class maintenance support for automated storage and retrieval systems and picking systems at the customer site. You will contribute electrical/mechanical expertise to maximize equipment utilization and perform preventive maintenance based on design specs.

Travel up to 10% and weekend/overtime as required. You will collaborate with on-site management, train customer maintenance teams, and ensure clear communication and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Automation or related field.
• 3+ years direct experience preferred.
• 3+ years in repairs on machinery systems including electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and rectify electro-mechanical faults and implement preventative measures.
• Provide emergency breakdown and engineering support.
• Calibrate automation equipment and analyze precision testing results.
• Assist installation of conveyor and automation equipment and oversee safety.
