Job summary

Concentra is seeking an experienced Athletic Trainer-Onsite (AT-O) for a PRN, on-site role at our client site in Stone Mountain, GA. You will promote worker wellbeing, coordinate RTW, and manage injuries with a focus on safety and compliance.

You will collaborate with the Health and Safety Leader to deliver preventive services, emergency response, and return-to-work plans while supporting cost-control and quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Must have degree from an accredited college/university.
• Current First Aid and CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide first aid for musculoskeletal injuries and illnesses per physician orders.
• Identify and refer injured workers to clinicians for optimal care.
• Respond to onsite medical emergencies per standing orders.
• Assist in Workers' Compensation case management and claim follow-up.
• Coordinate RTW job placement with client Human Resources.
• Track MSD statistics for client stakeholders and report findings.
• Coordinate pre-employment functional testing and vision testing.
• Conduct ergonomic training and evaluation for injury prevention.
• Perform ergonomic job analyses and recommend environmental/work changes.
• Create job rotation plans and monitor compliance.
• Provide job descriptions and determine restrictions for RTW.
• Manage and document rehab plans and progress during rehabilitation.
• Produce monthly/annual rehab utilization and cost reports.
• Maintain patient care records and ensure HIPAA/privacy compliance.
