Job summary

Concentra Inc. is hiring an Athletic Trainer for a full-time onsite role at our Richmond, VA clinic. The AT-O will support workers’ compensation, injury prevention, and return-to-work programs, liaising with Health and Safety leaders to promote a healthier workforce.

The candidate will perform clinical care, emergency response, and documentation while collaborating with HR and site leadership. Salary ranges from $70,000 to $75,000 with a Monday–Friday schedule and some shift variation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Current First Aid and CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer; Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers or equivalent.
• Experience in lieu of required education is acceptable: Yes

Responsibilities

• Provide basic first aid treatment for musculoskeletal injuries and illnesses as specified in standing orders.
• Identify, evaluate and refer injured associates to appropriate clinicians.
• Respond to onsite medical emergencies according to action plans.
• Assist in managing Workers’ Compensation cases through claim capture and follow-up.
• Coordinate injury prevention programs and ergonomic training and evaluation.
