Job summary

Concentra is hiring an Athletic Trainer for an onsite, full-time role at a client site in Richmond, VA. The AT-O will provide healthcare support, manage injuries, and support return-to-work programs in an occupational medicine setting.

The position requires an accredited degree, current First Aid/CPR, and about 1 year of onsite athletic training experience. Schedule is Monday–Friday with some variation; salary ranges from $70,000 to $75,000 annually.

Qualifications

• Current First Aid and CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer; Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers or equivalent
• 1 year of experience in athletic training on onsite setting
• Knowledge of kinesiology or ergonomic assessments
• Degree from an accredited college or university

Responsibilities

• Provide basic first aid treatment for injuries and illnesses per standing orders
• Identify and refer injured associates to clinicians for optimal care
• Assist in Workers' Compensation claim management and return-to-work processes
• Collaborate with HR on RTW job placement and program coordination
• Coordinate injury prevention programs and ergonomic training
• Perform ergonomic job analyses and risk factor identification
• Prepare and submit monthly rehab utilization and cost reports
• Maintain patient care records and write reports with proper documentation
