Job summary

Concentra is hiring an experienced Athletic Trainer-Onsite for a full-time, on-site role at our client's clinic in Dublin, VA. Schedule is Monday through Thursday, 10 AM to 8 PM, with a focus on preventing injuries and managing worker health—collaborating with the Health & Safety Leader to promote a safer workforce.

The AT-O will handle return-to-work coordination, workers' comp processes, and MSK assessments, while delivering prompt care, reporting, and ergonomic training.

Qualifications

• Must have a degree from an accredited college.
• Current First Aid and CPR/AED certification for professionals.
• State-specific regulations apply to on-site athletic training.
• Prior athletic trainer experience in onsite/occupational medicine is favored.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic first aid treatment for injuries and illnesses and assess ROM, strength, reflexes, and functional status.
• Identify, evaluate and refer injured workers to clinicians for optimal care.
• Respond to onsite medical emergencies per standing orders.
• Coordinate Workers' Compensation cases and return-to-work programs.
• Collaborate with HR and management on RTW job placement and monitor MSD statistics.
• Create and manage injury prevention and ergonomic programs and job analyses.
