Job summary

ONYX Multifamily Group in Belton, TX is seeking an experienced Assistant Property Manager for Villas at Belle Meadow. You will support the Property Manager with leasing, occupancy, collections and resident services at an on-site community.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in onsite multifamily roles, strong customer service and organizational skills, and proficiency with property-management software, especially ResMan. Weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of onsite multifamily apartment property-management or leasing experience.
• Experience as Assistant Property Manager, Assistant Community Manager, Leasing Manager, or senior leasing professional.
• Hands-on experience with resident accounts, collections and delinquency management.
• Understanding of the leasing cycle from prospect through move-in and renewal.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing requirements and apartment-industry best practices.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Property Manager in the day-to-day operation and performance of the community.
• Manage resident account activity, including rent collection, delinquency follow-up, late notices and payment arrangements.
• Maintain accurate resident ledgers, files and account documentation.
• Assist with move-ins, move-outs, notices to vacate, renewals and resident transfers.
• Support lease enforcement and follow established procedures related to delinquency and other lease violations.
• Build strong resident relationships and help resolve questions, concerns and service issues.
• Support leasing efforts by responding to prospects, conducting tours, following up on leads and helping convert qualified traffic into leases.
• Review applications, leasing documentation and resident files for accuracy and completeness.
• Assist with renewal and resident-retention efforts.
