Job summary

Johnson Service Group, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for a direct hire, onsite position in the greater Dallas area.

The role supports the Project Manager and Superintendent in planning, scheduling and project administration to deliver a safe, high-quality project on budget. Requirements include a four-year construction/engineering degree or equivalent, 5+ years in construction/finance/management, and proficiency with Primavera, Expedition, CGC CMS, MS Office.

Qualifications

• Four-year Construction/Engineering Degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Minimum of five years’ experience in construction, design, finance and management.
• Proficiency with Primavera, Expedition, CGC CMS, MS Word, Excel and AIA contracts.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Advanced knowledge of safety regulations, scheduling, cost control, and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Review owner contract and ensure compliance.
• Assist development of master project schedule and quality program.
• Assist with contract buyout within 90 days.
• Assist development of site safety and quality programs.
• Develop site logistics plan and document punch list.
• Coordinate and document owner training.
• Prepare O&M manuals and warranties.
• Assist with managing project costs relative to budget.
• Maintain schedule updates and support project planning meetings.
• Identify risks affecting cost, schedule or owner satisfaction.
• Assist with monthly project status reports and executive summaries.
