Job summary

Johnson Service Group is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for an onsite role with a commercial electrical client in the Dallas area. You will assist the Project Manager and Superintendent in planning, scheduling, and project administration, ensuring safety, quality, and profitability.

Responsibilities include reviewing contracts, developing master schedules, supporting safety and quality programs, managing costs, and preparing status reports.

Qualifications

• Four-year Construction/Engineering degree or equivalent.
• Minimum five years' experience in construction, design, finance and management.
• 2+ years' experience with a commercial electrical contractor.
• Proficient with Primavera, Expedition, CGC CMS, MS Word, Excel, and AIA documents.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Advanced knowledge of safety regulations, scheduling, cost and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager and Superintendent in planning, scheduling and administration of an assigned project.
• Review owner contracts and ensure compliance.
• Assist in development of master project schedule and quality control program.
• Assist with contract buyout and development of site safety and quality programs.
• Develop site logistics plans, participate in punch list, and coordinate owner training.
• Prepare O&M manuals and warranties and assist with monitoring project costs relative to budget.
• Support schedule updates and contribute to monthly project status reports.
