Gray Construction is seeking an on-site Assistant Project Manager to join our team in Charlotte, NC or Dallas, TX. The candidate will help manage project progress, budgets, and coordination with subcontractors, customers, and consultants.

Ideal candidates possess a Bachelor's degree and at least three years of related experience, with proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and scheduling tools. A proactive, team-oriented mindset and commitment to safety are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of three years related experience.
• Proficient in word processing, spreadsheets, and e-mail applications.
• Energetic, self-motivated team player with collaboration and professional development mindset.

Responsibilities

• Develop, update and monitor job progress using QMS program, including scheduling, estimating and budgeting to ensure that construction of project parallels with schedule.
• Perform quantity take offs, cost estimates and bid solicitation.
• Purchase and coordinate the delivery of materials, ensuring optimum price, quality and conformance to specifications.
• Reviews and approves invoices and change orders; negotiate with subcontractors and vendors.
• Attend weekly job site meetings and prepare reports on project status and progress.
• Communicate with customers, consultants and subcontractors; enforce Gray’s safety program on site.
