Job summary

State Fire is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage invoicing, cash application, collections, and reconciliations, ensuring accurate and timely cash flow. The role requires ERP expertise and experience with NetSuite, with a focus on construction-related billing processes.

This onsite position emphasizes attention to detail, data analysis, and collaboration with internal teams to resolve issues, while supporting month-end close activities and AR reporting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounts receivable experience.
• Strong spreadsheet skills and ability to handle large data sets.
• ERP experience required; NetSuite preferred.
• Construction or field service billing experience preferred.
• Onsite work in Salt Lake City; no remote option.

Responsibilities

• Manage full AR cycle including invoicing, cash application, collections, and reconciliations.
• Prepare and file pre-lien notices per state regulations and project timelines.
• Review AR aging with managers and pursue overdue balances to reduce DSO.
• Apply and reconcile customer payments and resolve short pays or billing discrepancies.
• Maintain retainage and lien waivers for construction billing.
• Respond to billing inquiries and collaborate with internal teams.
• Support month-end close activities including AR reconciliations and reporting.
